On the metrology of magnetic properties of the electrical sheet steelJohannes Sievert Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, Braunschweig, GermanyAbstract:A survey was given of the latest development and the state of the art of electrical sheet steel metrology. It was focused on the standard measurement methods in alternating magnetic fields, the Epstein- and the Single Sheet-Tester (SST) Methods. The relevant items to be considered in this context are up-to-date electronic methods for the flux density control, data acquisition and data evaluation, and the influence of the magnetic circuit design on the accuracy and precision characteristics of the two methods. This included the consideration of the systematic error sources, reproducibility characteristics and economic aspects.[著者文摘]
