The BIPM is pleased to announce that the Republic of Kazakhstan acceded to the BIPM on 31 December 2008, bringing the number of Member States to 52. Kazakhstan, which has been an Associate of the CGPM since September 2005, is the first Associate to become a Member State.
國際計量局(BIMP)很高興地宣布，哈薩克斯坦共和國在2008年12月31日加入國際計量局(BIMP)，使會員國數量增加到52個 。 哈薩克斯坦，自從2005年9月以來作為一個準國際度量衡會議(CGPM) 會員，是第一個由準會員成為會員國。
