Abstract:In angle measurement by Total Station, inclination error of vertical axes brings error to measurement not only in horizontal direction but also in vertical angle. The role of compensator is to compensate the error that the inclination of vertical axes brings to horizontal direction and vertical angle, which is the key part of Total Station. From the function, structure, principle, and detection and maintenance of failure in compensator, the paper expounded in detail the compensator, which made the readers know the methods of detection and maintenance of compensator when the Total Station is under maintenance.[著者文摘]
